Direct Mail
|
One of the biggest advantages to direct mail is that it does
go directly to a particular audience. In theory, that makes
it more like a zoom lens than a wide-angle. These are the steps
to mounting a successful direct-mail campaign.
1. Determine your objective.
2. Identify your audience.
3. Assemble and verify an accurate list.
5. Plan an approach.
6. Decide on number, frequency, and timing of mailings.
7. Convert message and approach into a graphic and copy concept.
8. Write, design, produce, and print materials.
9. Prepare for distribution, and implement mailings.
Sound like a complex process? It can be, but Bobbi Linkemer
